It looks like work is finally going ahead on much-needed repairs to the Yarra Trail. Just in time for the Commonwealth Games, perhaps?

Following up on my earlier grumble about a somewhat anti-cyclist letter in the February issue of Royalauto, a response printed in the March issue still misses the point.

The Aeolian Ride is coming to Melbourne on March 11th.

While turn-and-look events are common there is a very low likelihood (3%) that a pedestrian, on hearing a bicycle bell, will react in a manner that impedes the line of the bicycle and endanger themselves and/or the cyclist.
